Greetings ladies and gentlemen, this isn’t an address to congress, this is going to be my personal statement for the future of this country.
After becoming president, I refuse to be called a Tsar; my feelings about the way the country was turning became painfully obvious. Our top political leaders were being silent; they refused to communicate frequently to you, the public, and were damaging our reputation across seas and borders. When I became president I wanted to change things, like I’ve said before I feel we need to reach out to other nations and alliances rather than spam and troll them.
I’ve been getting in contact with several PEACE members and Atlantis members hoping to create a balance in our nation and the world in hopes of separating ourselves from the past differences. This has been done for two reasons, to re-open old relationships and to create new ones. Since this administration has stated it is Neutral in the past and our militaristic strength is relatively low, I feel like we need to express our desire for protection as well, in order to get to that next level of diplomacy we need to survive in the first place. We’re one of the smallest nations in the world and one of the weakest. Unfortunately for the moment our strength seems to be holding us back from truly advancing in the world so we must explore the MPP route.
My plan is to make the eCzech Republic into the Real World Switzerland, a nation that remains neutral in times of war regardless of the changing of tides. A nation that stands strong with everyone and can act as a mediatory nation in times where Conflict is on the rise or a Conflict Resolution Treaty is needed. I feel we can get to this point and at this rate we probably will. What I need right now is not just the support from the other nations of the eWorld but also support from you, my Citizens and friends, with you we can make this dream come true.
Train daily, there are gift bombers around, and I have been receiving PM’s about acquiring our nation’s first Hospital. The worst of times are behind us, we must look forward for our own sake’s and the world’s.

What difficulties did you encounter when you became a president?
CRP:
I'm not sure this happens in other countries because this is the farthest I've been able to climb since joining the game in November... but the hardest part was separating myself from the other presidents.
My political views differ incredibly from the past two presidents; in my opinion they were very close minded, tried to turn the country away from our neighbors putting us in a difficult situation for our very country's survival.
I needed to announce my very own plans for the country, publically, and state that I was planning on doing a 180 convincing the public was the second hardest but I feel they can at least tolerate me because I'm not spewing insults and spamming my case.

How do you experienced the attack of Slovakia to your country at
Apr 10, 2008?
CRP:
To be honest, Czech wasn't even on my mind in April, I was either living in Pakistan or China at the time.
Right now I can say, however my opinion on it was that it was foolhardy and an unfortunate attempt to get one leg up on the competition in the region. Thankfully Pakistan intervened and supported the Czechs. I feel that the feelings between the Slavs and the Czechs have cooled significantly since then and wish for more cooperation in the future.
TWI1M:
On Jun 1, 2008 Czech Republic is attacked again this time by
Hungary. The war lasted 23days. What happen on that time?
CRP:
Well at first we had the support of NA behind us and I was incredibly greatful. When the opportunity arose to end the war on a stalemate our president Yugi acted selfishly and tried to drive our country, and at the very lest our economy, to the ground and be assimilated with the Hungarians.
Vaclav and I, the leading politicians at the time publically denounced this but since we had no definitive constitution we could do absolutely nothing to stop the takeover the support from the NA diminished and Hungary conquered Slovakia, taking our pride with it.
I felt broken and wanted to change how things worked, to become a very public politician and to work with the community better We worked on a constitution and after Yugi was voted out of office we worked on rebuilding the Country.
TWI1M:
What are your plans for the future now that you are in the power?
CRP:
My plan is on the long term. I wish to become the first president in the country to stay in office for at least two turns. Right this morning we rose in rank from 24 to 23 and the increase doesn't seem to be slowing down.
I am helping rebuild our economy by increasing import taxes slightly and lowering the domestic ones, I am burning and selling CZK to our citizens to decrease our inflation, I am reopening diplomatic relations with our neighbors unlike closing them off like Vaclav and Baci before me and I hope to turn Czech into the diplomatic center of the world, the mediator between PEACE and Atlantis.
TWI1M:
Don't you think that's a hard thing to achieve? I mean, Czech Republic has been attack twice. Aren't you afraid to be attacked again?
CRP:
Oh of course I am, Czech is one of the smallest nations in the eWorld.
I am currently in talks with PEACE and Atlantis about becoming
MPP partners if this will happen I don't know.
TWI1M:
What you think of the current war between Romania and Hungary? since Hungary previously attacked Czech.
CRP:
I've talked about this before with PEACE's security councilman, lol.
My stance, and my government's stance is that we do not support any war regardless of who is it Enemy or Friend.
What i DO support is the handing over of Slovakia to a friendlier nation the problem is still that it had to be done through war but now that it is over with, or slowly coming to a halt, I am Happy.

Because you want to become a peace mediator right?
CRP:
Of course.

If you don't support any war, can you tell our readers your opinion on Mexico - Portugal - Spain issue?
The fact that Portugal openly stopped the conquer of Mexico by taking Campeche.
CRP:
Hmm That is a tough one.
My stance remains the same, I don't support any wars, but it is better to finish your problems and not hold them back. Portugal stop a war through unfair means and you're going to build up even more resentment between more countries, possibly
making an even greater war.
TWI1M:
By saying that you would've prefer that Spain would finish the "job" and Portugal should have stayed silent about that?
CRP:
It is better to finish a war completely or call a truce. There were neither of these I don't feel like Portugal should have stayed silent but I feel starting a war, to stop a war might have put Portugal in a bad standing with Spain.
Or I can just be misinterpreting the facts
TWI1M:
Don't you think that by getting surrounded by Spain would be a bigger threat than it is right now? Since Spain had intentions of joining ATLANTIS at that time.
CRP:
To be honest I'm not quite sure, because of the previous administrations relations with Spain I don't exactly know what their intentions are. I'm JUST getting back in touch with some of the bigger countries.

Hmm I would like to state that War is not the only answer in this game, it should be the last thing that comes to mind when acting on international levels. Just because there is the option, doesn't mean you're forced to take it. Sort out your differences
on a personal level and keep a cool head.

Presidential Article
Greetings peoples of the Czech Republic, I come to you today with my son and partner H.W. Hat as the former Vice President and former Prime Minister of our country. I also come to you today as the current mayor of Prague and thanks to 72 of our anonymous citizens I am coming to you as President of our Nation!
I will be bringing immediate changes into how our country is run. There is not enough cooperation with congress, the people and the President. So from this day forward I will be holding Radio Addresses for the more important decisions within my administration. I’m tired of the days of old where the President just did as he pleased without TRULY consulting with the populace below him. I’m tired of the days where the President was the man behind the curtain who rarely showed himself during the decision making process. I’m tired of our country neglecting to treat our neighbors with respect, REGARDLESS of our past histories. Most of all I want to be the Leader of the Czech Republic who opens his arms to the rest of the world, one who doesn’t shut his borders and secludes himself to the other cultures and practices, and one who will bring our country higher than it’s ever been before.
I would like to reach out to Parrot of the Slavic Party. Although he has disagreed with some of my economical policies and the leaders of our nation in the past, I want to bring him and the second most active party in the Republic under my wing. With a combination of both our parties I feel we can accomplish what we need to in order to make our Nation Great.
Parrot are you willing to become my Vice President and help me raise this country to new heights?

Who am I?
This is in response to Rycerz's article.
My words in the past have been harsh towards our current and previous president. I apologize for the amount of negativity they have created.
My name is Ivan Hat. I was born on Pakistan Sand and raised to worship the God-Emperor Dio. I made several friends in my homeland and I was happy. I was happy until I opened my eyes to the malignant death that was rising to power. No longer was the country to be led by a God but by a slew of idiotic trolls who didn't care for things such as diplomacy or 'rules'.
I convinced a few of my friends and we left Pakistan for neighboring China. It seemed like a small enough country, one that couldn't go anywhere but up. Unfortunately some of my so called friends had plans of their own. Once we had been elected into power they turned on me and my new homeland, immediately handing it over to Pakistan. As soon as I could, I was a legally elected mayor and congressman at the time; I left China and settled down here in the Czech Republic. Another nation that seemed like it could go no where but up.
I lived here under President Reine and President Yugi's reign, building up my political clout with the masses. I worked and strived for a more internationally open nation that respected the surrounding areas. I was in contact with then polish party member Popolo who seemed to be in a similar crisis of being stuck with an incompetent leader and a nation that wanted his land. Unfortunately allying with Poland was never meant to be, Germany sucked it up before it was ever given a chance to rebuild.
I was the frontrunner for the next presidency after Yugi. I had the support of this nation’s leading domestic politician, Vaclav, and the people of my party appeared happy. My presidency was then taken from me by my supposed Vice President himself, deciding to run with the people’s money and formed his own party. I was then made into the Vice President of the nation. I had also become the Prime Minister and leader of foreign affairs. Once again I was asked if I wanted to become President by Vaclav. But before I could act it was almost immediately given to a newcomer to the entire game known simply as Baci a man who was ALSO never elected party president.
Yes, my power was officially stricken from me on multiple times. THIS is why I wanted to leave the Czech Republic. I felt I was wasting my time to be honest. I felt the nation could go as far as I could help it and there must have been calmer waters elsewhere, where I could try to do the same thing. Vaclav’s invitation, “I” did not personally ask for this, to become the party president fell on deaf ears at first. I wanted to move on. After some talks however I opened up to the idea and took his offer.
Which leads me to my plans for the nation; I am a diplomatic and international man. I will make peace with our neighbors and will bring our nation’s image out of the gutter in the areas that need it. Like I said in my previous articles, I plan on a pro-Czech economy that is open to foreign trade, one that favors our goods while still allowing outside businesses to seek consumers here. I plan on reversing, yes I said reversing, some of the domestic policies that were brought up near the end of President Vaclav’s presidency. There is no need to be “fascist” or “elitist” in a world such as today. The church however will remain a staple of our society. I do not plan on uprooting our nation’s morals or ideals, I merely plan to expand them. If you wish to know more please don’t be afraid to ask me personally, my PM box is always open. Wrong Unificaiton!
Ladies and Gentlemen I must apologize. I came to this country in order to change it around for the better.
My name is Ivan Hat; I am with you today by myself. I am talking for me and myself alone. I must inform you all that I have only had the best intentions for the Republic. What I have seen in my two and a half months in this country is the worst kind of manipulation I’ve seen. Yes, even worse than what I saw in China. I have seen the elections of a crook and a glory chasing man. President Yugi was a Brazilian agent sent here to secure his own glory and gold, doing everything he could to aid himself and the Brazilian government. I was to become the next president after Yugi; I had gained your trust, I was liked by the people, I had a following, I had an endorsement by the leading public spokesman, and right at the end of the month victory was taken from me.
It was taken from me by the man who is now President, Vaclav. At the last second he dropped an incredible sum, of forty gold, without thinking of the consequences. For the next few weeks he formed a plan to rebuild our nation to its past glory and possibly even further. What he did on the home front was exceptional; our nation IS on the path to success. He knows how to turn a country around as much as I do. What he has a problem with is long term planning; we are now despised by our neighboring countries and we have no future plans being “destroy the Czech republic” if anything bad MIGHT happen.
And what has he done recently? He has cancelled our MPP with one of the strongest nations in the eWorld in order to benefit himself. We are allied with Sweden, at least we were, we had future plans to increase our well being. And the opportunity has been squandered. Not only that he has piled our most active members into a single party in order to protect us against an obviously multi-accounting party that really has no chance of surviving. ALSO he has not given his power up to the vice president/prime minister. He has given it to Baci, a suspected HUNGARIAN OPPERATIVE.
Yes you heard me, I’m talking about a Hungarian operative. I will not give the name of whoever passed me this information but let me just say that he is high in the political spectrum of the Hungarian government. I also have typed statements from several other anonymous users within Hungary who have heard rumors of this. President Vaclav, you don’t have the Muslims to fear, you have your own power and ignorance to fear. What you have done is handed over our nation to the very people you have been so verbally against! IN FACT he's hoping to be annexed by someone willing to give territory back once the resistance module is in. Are we supposed to trust this man's judgement?!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am sorry to say this but my time in this country is almost definitely limited. I can not bring you out of this hole alone; and with Hungarian, Israeli, Brazilian, and God knows how many other agents attempting to acquire power it is almost impossible.
Do Not Trust Baci, Do Not Trust Baci ladies and gentlemen! I am here as your last ray of hope to survive. Vote for me in the upcoming elections or face the political takeover you were all afraid of.
Do you want a President who JUST signed up this month, who is a suspected Hungarian Agent, and cannot be trusted? Or do you want a president with international support, someone who has been on Erepublik since November 2007, someone you can trust and help continue to bring this nation out of the hole it is in.
You are all doing the right choice for banding together to protect this land, but you are doing it in the wrong place and at the wrong time! Join me my brothers and sisters! Diplomatic Troubles
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Czech Republic, as most of you may know my name is Ivan Hat,I am the current Vice President and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, and I come to you today with my son and partner H.W. Hat to talk to you about the growing troubles within the central European region.
What started as a ill explained war started by the Hungarians in early June has once again come to the front of our new world. I have been a vocal opponent of the Hungarian reasoning for the war, as well as the MA connection to the war. Personally I wish to have nothing more to with them. The war is over; peace, or something like it, has occurred and we need to move on. We have lost the Slovakian territories that were rightfully ours through the previous wars and our economy has just recently begun to rebound after an atrocious presidency from a Brazilian agent. What we need to do now is connect with the world around us, not separate from it.
What is going on right now is that Vaclav has begun allying with several, if not all, of the NA nations. This has thusly upset the allies we have in the MA. I must say that in the long run this is the better of the two choices for us. We need as much support from the international community as we can get. Joining with more nations, regardless of political affiliation, is the better choice compared to what we had when the war ended. After the war ended we became allies with several MA nations, the same group that attempted to swallow us whole in the Hungarian/Czech war. Although we are now ‘friendly’ with one another they were still our enemies and thusly cannot be completely trusted, regardless of relations. It is too soon after the war to be laying down our guns and hugging one another in eternal harmony. Perhaps down the road, after a long peace process, we can do this, but relying on our former enemies for all the protection is absurd.
This is by no means an insult or attack on the MA members either. We must get along and if your intentions are true and noble then we will graciously welcome your support. But threatening us because we seek additional help is not the way to go. There is still the lasting memory of our alliance with Hungary suddenly being dissolved and our borders invaded, what is stopping you from attempting the same? This is the reasoning I can give for our actions. We are a very small nation in need of big nation support, and we cannot simply allow one group to do this.
But all this doesn’t mean I support our Presidents current actions either. He has acted too strongly in creating this division. Insults, bickering, and instigation should not be a part of the diplomatic process. Unfortunately all of these things can be said about the current administration’s tactics. I do NOT support the way he is acting and have talked with him on several occasions to speak through his advisors when it comes to the foreign diplomatic process and have done so today. If this changes anything, I do not know, but I want the Hungarian and MA governments to not take his words so seriously. He is merely attempting to unite us as one group in the face of world around us. His goals are true but his actions to get to those goals are anything but. If anyone from these MA governments would like to discuss this matter further please send me a private message.
