Communists and reality

This article is a consequence of probable communist party creation on Slovakia. I would like to explain my stances on these issues.

Communists (according to their words) want to force people to be more social and to donate more money to those in need. We do it trough private company Sociálna poisťovňa. It offers interest-free loans to starting players. This loan should be paid by reaching level 6 (and therefore receiving 5 gold). Even though they did not anything about it, they were able to state, that this is just not enough.

They stated, that people should pay more taxes. We, as Slovaks, have experienced the negative effects of rapid increase of import taxes not so long ago. The increase of import taxes has caused a rapid increase of the price of the q1 food (which communist threat as essential good). It has been upped by nearly 100 %. Although q2 food price remained steady, the q3 food was unable to get.

I ask you, is this a real social feeling? Well, the main argument for its increase was to empower Slovak companies. This has already been an issue, but it will not be probable this time. Communists even want to increase the domestic taxes. I would not be surprised, if they up them on 99 % rate. Therefore, the prices of the q1 food would go even higher. I do not want to make horrible predictions, but I do not see them going under 4 SKK. While in this situation, you are fine to buy 2,3 q1 food with citizen fee, but I hardly see anyone to buy even 1 q1 food.

What is another nightmare of mine is an increase of minimum wage. We, Slovaks, again, already have an experience with this. The job market had been able to offer nice jobs. After increase, the market was not about to offer one single place for 0 and 1 skill. That made a situation of starting players even tougher. They were forced to live from their minimum wage and most of them ended playing this game quickly.

What I have to admit is, that national treasury would have much more finances to spend. However, how would these money be redistributed? Maybe communist put them to the pockets of "nation leaders", but what is more probable, they would invest them to state corporations. These would very probably be injected by the state with money. They would offer great salaries and low prices. But this would actually ruin the competition, as private companies would be unable to compete on both job and goods market. They would quit. But here comes the question. If they quit, who would pay taxes to donate these state companies?

I would also like to point on possible discrimination. The money from national treasury would be distributed ineffectively and no one would be able to see all financial transactions.

The last thing I would like to highlight is koruna currency. Thanks to mad erepublik rules established along with V1 system, we were unable to establish unique gold-covered currency. However, I would be very interested in what happens with SKK, if these my predictions become truth.

In conclusion, I hope I have offered enough arguments why not to vote communists. My private opinion is, that this group does not really mean what they say. They just want to try it. Decide, whom you will vote for in upcoming congressional elections very wisely. Just think if you really let Irish to make an experiment with your money and erepublik life.
