Parrot The Slanderer
I will no longer support my Vice President Parrot because he has been reduced to Slandering me as an opponent. He has taken his gloves off and started throwing the crudest mess I have seen in quite some time.
If I MUST I will re-explain my past. It’s in my articles but I feel like I must say what happened again. I grew disenchanted with the government and Dirty Politics of Pakistan and took several of my friends with me to China. I felt like I could turn it around since it was a small nation and with my so-called friends’ help I felt like it was possible. I set up a food company and hired Chinese employees and paid them generous wages and sold food at low prices. I gained their trust and was eventually elected Mayor of Beijing. I was very thankful and when the elections rolled around I was elected a congressman of the country.
Unfortunately one of my friends felt this was an opportune time to take over the nation. When I heard wind of this I immediately wrote about it in my newspaper that I had in China. I rallied the Chinese forces in an attempt to stand tall when war was declared on Pakistan. I stayed in China until the last territory was conquered. I stayed there was nothing left to fight for.
What Parrot is doing is tarnishing the entire Country of China’s great, although short, history. He is trying to paint me as a devil when I gave them work and food in a time when Indonesia was currently planning its own coup and restricting food supples. I was one of the shining beacons for that country and I regret to this day that my so-called friends would attempt something like that.
I guess I can be to blame, I was ignorant at the time. I didn’t know about the traveling tickets and assumed the shorter flight the less my wellness would suffer. I also never expected a political takeover was possible.
But I moved as far away as I could from Pakistan to the Czech Republic to start anew. And here I am the President of this Fine Nation. I was the one who put the Determents on our constitution in order to prevent something like China from happening again. This is also why I wish to remain neutral in this world and why I still have some fears of joining an alliance with Pakistan in it. Although I still have friends in Pakistan I know plenty of them who would jump on the chance to takeover a nation once more.
Parrot is a fear mongering and mudslinging candidate. I have never insulted his integrity or his past until this point. I will not support a person who feels it necessary to open old wounds and tarnish an entire nation.
From this Point Forward, Parrot, you are no longer my Vice President. Have a Nice Day.

Apologies and Explaination.
Yes our nation, statistically, is worse off than it was when I first became President. Our nation has dropped several ranks recently, not on the whole, but recently. This was a sudden turn in events and my political rivals were quick to jump on the situation as primarily my fault and that it was avoidable. Truth is the world in not completely Black And White. The Truth is I AM partially to blame for these recent developments. But it is unfair to call my presidency a down turn in our Nation’s history. I have made developments nationally and internationally that will benefit us in the future.
*My tax plan which favors the people AND the government.
*Our status in the world as a developing neutral state, separate from the power’s political differences but at the same attempting to bridge the cultural and economic gap.
*Attempting to Unify our nation even with our growing differences and remove the negativity from our political system.
But I will agree that I had the wrong plan when I first came into office.
*I attempted to lower the Citizen fee in order to reduce the strain on the government’s pockets, assuming that the salaries and prices of food would be enough.
*I also assumed that high taxes would solve the nation’s Inflation by bringing in more money which I could burn and reduce the amount of CZK on the market.
*I also underestimated the power of the Polish people had on our nation. My party alone lost 40-50 people within the last two weeks, and the nation as a whole lost 50 more.
The last statement is what my political rivals refuse to acknowledge however; when we lose 100 Active citizens in less than half a month: our productivity, our economy, our political and societal activity plummets. This is the primary reason why we have lost our Country’s ranks this past week.
My plan IS making headway on a national level but my presidency cannot be summed up with the situation we are in right now. I have contradicted myself in the past and I apologize. I realized that the main problem is that my party truly had no political platform which I could point to as the definitive goals of my Presidency and rule.
I will follow this plan from now on and I will attempt to not contradict myself in the future with this plan. People of the Czech Republic, the worst of times are behind us. Give me the chance to prove my plan when we don’t have active refugees who will leave us the second the tide changes. Give me the chance to work with the CZECH citizens. This is what the Political Coalition is about, a group of Czech political parties working together for Czech policies and not those primarily based with foreign nations.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to explain myself.
^ i agree.
sorry ivan but after V1 comes you will lose you presidental seat, becouse all poles will leve CZ and many of non-poles will leve CZ becouse of political situations.
And more Czechs wll join, Maybe.
If civil wars in eRepublik were possible for a day, i wonder what would happen...
JanJ - I just wish to take this nation as far as I can. If i am voted out so be it. But I\'m not leaving until that happens.

Presidential Statement - Taxes
Let me tell you how economies work and how important they are for governments to function. Taxes are put on goods, taxes are put on salaries, taxes are put on imports and exports. Where do these taxes go? They go back into the government. What do these taxes do to you as a citizen? Practically nothing. My rival party claims that these taxes are stealing from you. They claim that these taxes are stealing from your hard earned work, where you’re supposed to make 34 CZK instead of 33 or 30CZK. Ladies and gentlemen we are still in inflation. There are huge piles of money on the market, salaries are REDICULOUSLY high, and prices are generally higher than most places on the eWorld. These Taxes are what is helping this government get out of this inflation.
You are not losing anything because of these taxes. You are Gaining a stronger nation. Sacrificing 1-3 CZK isn’t going to prevent you from obtaining a new fancy house. Not having an additional 1-3 CZK is not somehow going to prevent you from eating every day. The Slavic Party claims that my government is stealing from you and is flooding the media in order to “prove” their points.
Do not believe their empty words and listen to the man who has been working in Erepublik since November 30th last year. I was a businessman first before I became a politician. I was a worker in a strict economy in Pakistan before I became a businessman. I was a dirt poor follower of Dio before that. I know what it truly means to feel cheated and undercut in this world and I assure you the situation we are in now can NOT that case. You are living in a growing economy, one that is becoming stronger by the day.
When I first became President the value of the CZK was close to 200CZK per Gold, now it is around 120 CZK per gold! Salaries have RISEN since I became President. Our status in the world has also RISEN. We are closer to having Hospitals in 2 out of three of our territories than we have ever been in the history of our nation. You can thank me and my vice president for that. What my vice president doesn’t want you to know is that you can also thank out TAXES for this glory. Our TAXES are what is bringing in enough CZK to buy the gold which will allow us to buy a hospital. Without taxes we would never be this close to buying a hospital and would have to completely rely on your donations. And obviously the majority of you don’t want to do that so the taxes are doing the job.
The taxes are stealing from you, the government is not cheating you, this President is looking out for you, and this President will lead us into the future glory of the Czech Republic. Thank you and God Bless the Czech Republic
Yes... but you should tax where the real money is, in corporations
and don\'t only give taxes credit for this... what about that whole monetary market idea I came up with?
dr d you probably dont know that corporations dont have any profit since salaries are so high!
show me company owners that make less then their workers
The idea that people should pay government because they work has to be accepted in the realworld, but this world doesn\'t work that way.
Instead of income taxes, let\'s focus on VAT.
You buy things - you pay taxes.
You save money for your own company - how prudent! You don\'t pay taxes.
Youbuy only Q1 food vbecause you can\'t afford Q2? You pay less in taxes.
You can afford Q3? Share the wealth, pay the VAT.
You\'re buying a house?! Great! That means you have loads of cash! Contribute to the budget if you can afford a house!
Edward I have absolutely no problem with what you just said. I plan on raising the VAT. What I dont plan on is completely getting rid of the Income tax. it will remain low as possible but I will not completely get rid of it.
There is no point in having NO taxes in any sector, Low is perfectly fine in all aspects. VAT will be higher than Income, Import will be higher than VAT. and Income will obviously be really low.
Well that makes some sense... as long as you\'re not letting te company owners get too rich
Dr. D, I\'m not someone who runs a Laissez-Faire government. I expect things to cooperate, and shouting NO Income Taxes and refusing to listen to my argument\'s details is enfuriating sometimes.
I AM listening to the Slavic Party\'s arguments and explaining my position and I\'d like some respect when I give my own and I thank you and Edward for discussing this like gentlemen.
you\'re welcome
Be my guest.
I voted against the laws you proposed lately, because they increased the VAT, but didn\'t decrease the income tax.
And it is your right to do so.

Interview to the Indonesian President
Hello, I'm anarquia reporter of The World in one minute. We interview the main players in erepublik to find out what they think. We want to show different opinions and point's of view over different countries. We want to show what leaders think about the future. Please subscribe us if you want to known more about the eworld. Please vote in our articles if you liked them.
Today we interview the Indonesian President, Mr. Andie Wicaksono.
The World in one minute: Hi I'm anarquia from the The World in one minute team. Nice to meet you Mr. President.
Indonesian President: Nice to meet you too. By the way, male or female?
TWI1M: Male, its a Latin name.
Shall we start?
IP: ok.
TWI1M: So when did you join erepublik?
IP: May 07, 2008.
TWI1M: That's not much compared to the other presidents. When you decided become an active party member?
IP: About two or three months ago
TWI1M: That's not too long ago.
IP: Yeah.
TWI1M: What were your ideas in that time?
IP: Indonesia needs lots of change, there are several things need to be arrange in general.
TWI1M: What difficulties did you encounter when you became a president?
IP: Until now, it's not a big problem I don't find any constraints in living my duty as the president.
There's only small problem to motivate the silent members. But they are a lot of, lol.
TWI1M: Consider yourself a lucky president.
IP: Why you call it luck?
TWI1M: Usually all the presidents that I interviewed have always big problems in hands.
IP: Its depend on individual perspective I think if you see those problem big, yes they are getting bigger but if you think they just small, then they are small.
TWI1M: Back in Jun 11, 2008 Indonesia attacked South Africa (allied with USA, Argentina and Venezuela). It was the biggest conflict ever in Erepublik history. What happened back then?
IP: consider that in this game, war is one of the most interesting subjects, (we Indonesia) do have to go to war to make us stronger, right?
TWI1M: Can you tells us more about that strategic politic?
IP: That's not the main problem in my presidential reign we will be focused on the development programs for our country at moment that's the strategic politic right now.
TWI1M: Indonesia has used politics to stage political coups to take over other countries. Can you say your opinion about that?
IP: every man has his/her own way nothing wrong with that, right? but I'm not using it at moment i don't want to judge it personally, it's they're own way.
TWI1M: Can you tell us more about your future plans for Indonesia?
IP: increase our citizens' erepublic point for overall points while there will be no war again until v.1 release. That's it.
TWI1M: Can you tell our readers your opinion on Mexico - Portugal - Spain issue?
The fact that Portugal openly stopped the conquer of Mexico by taking Campeche.
IP: No comment on that in this moment.
TWI1M: Indonesia it's one of the greatest military superpower. Do you want to say anything else to the eworld?
IP: In erepublik, we begin the new world, and we hope that because of this is a community game, we just hope that the game administrator can be fair to the game rules not only for Indonesia, but for every country people come and go in this website, to enjoy the game and to make friends.
TWI1M: Portugal has been systematically boycotted by the will of the Admins, not only being created policies to cause us prejudices, but also being erased money from our public accounts without prior notice and actually we aren’t able to administrate our own taxes.
Do you think that admins are being fair with Indonesia regarding the game rules?
IP: it is difficult to judge fair or not they do had to reconsider lots of improvement if they want to make this game more interesting for every people in this eworld.
TWI1M: but do you feel that Indonesia lost something because of the bugs in the wars or about any admin related problem?
IP: yes, of course that's also need to be reconsider.
TWI1M: Thank you so much for your time in the name of The World in minute team.
IP: Thanks for the interview anarquia.
THE END
article by anarquia
Your countries neutrality policies would be interesting to know more about. Losing 100 poles aren\'t really much to do anything about. A country\'s strength is more than what can be measured in size and numbers.
As an active member of Atlantis and knowing the real strategies behind Peace GC I don\'t really think we can talk about \'neutral\' countries in Erepublik. But rather Atlantis, Peace and \'others\', where these other nations always are leaning toward one of the two sides - in trade, in alliances or in general politics. Czech have felt quite Peace GC friendly under your presidency, at least that\'s my impression.
I think the more mature and stable countries will look for protection by Peace while the nations who still haven\'t found out which way to go will continue to reach for neutrality and co-operation with Peace GC.
Although it must be more obvious for every day that pass in this game that Peace GC is unable to deliver both protection and stability.
Signed
Misho, Minister of Defense, Sweden.
